2025 General Session: Week 6

Hello, District 26!

As we enter the final stretch of the 2025 Legislative Session, I’m excited to share updates on several bills I’ve been working on that are advancing through the legislative process.
Week 6 Legislative Update

This week, several of my bills have successfully moved through the House and are now being considered in the Senate. These include legislation focused on firearms safety incentives, unlicensed driver amendments, and tax return donation amendments. These bills address important issues that directly impact Utah communities, particularly on the West Side, and I’m eager to see them progress into law.

Additionally, I’m happy to report that HB294, which ensures face-covering accommodations for individuals with disabilities in public spaces, has passed both chambers and is now headed to the Governor’s desk for signing. This is an important step toward ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all Utahns.

With just a few days left in the session, I remain optimistic that the rest of my bills will pass out of the House with strong support. As always, I am committed to advocating for the needs of our district and making sure our community’s voice is heard.
